Day 01

Upon your arrival one of our well experience representatives (Driver/Guide) warmly welcome you at Bandaranayake International Air port & drive to Negambo, situated by the shores of a lagoon an ideal place for those who want quick access   from the airport.  Attractions in the city are the old Dutch fort gate built in 1672 now a part of the prison. The Dutch Canal was then a supply route to the Dutch administration, huge fish market, old churches and fishing villages’

Day 02

 After having early breakfast at 7.30am, you proceed to Sigiriya. Sigiriya Fortress (1200 Steps & 200m high) Sigiriya is an archeological site in the North Central Sri Lanka. It contains the ruins of an ancient palace complex.  The most exquisite example of ancient Sri Lankan art, architecture and landscaping & one of the world heritage sites in Sri Lanka & considering 8th wonder of the World.

 

Optional – You can have an “Ayurvedha Treatments” (SPA)

Next you visit Ritigala – Ritigala is a range of mountains which is near   Anuradhapura in the dry zone of Sri Lanka. There are many monastic ruins of stones, terrace ways, circular terraces, a stone bridge, and remains of a giant stone banked pond built across a water stream.

 

In the evening enjoy with the Elephant riding at Habarana

Overnight Stay in Dambulla.

Day 03

After breakfast you head to Sigiriya, take in the sites of the land in a hot air balloon. Experience peace and tranquility amongst the clouds as you take in the sights. Be awed by the Sigiriya rock, the temples, fields and other great attractions from this new vista.

In the afternoon you leave to Minneriya NP.  Wild Safari at Minneriya National Park about 8889 hectares in extent and is an ideal eco-tourism location in Sri Lanka. It is the home to Sri Lanka is favorites such as spotted deer, Sambur, Leopards, Sloth bear and 100 - 150 Elephants.

Overnight Stay at the same place in Dambulla.

Day 04

Breakfast at the hotel you drive to Kandy. En route visit Herbal Gardens at Matale. . Matale Herbal gardens are among the best on the Island. You will get the chance of seeing how spices & herbs like Turmeric/Pepper cones/Cloves/Cardamom/ Nutmeg/Vanilla/ Cinnamon/Cocoa/Aloe Vera E.g.

 

Next you visit Sri Muththumari Amman Hindu temple- Its outer walls are covered with hundreds of carvings and statues of different renowned Hindu characters, gods and deities. 

 

Next you visit Alu viharaya- A rock-cave shelter where Buddhist monks in king Valagamba is reign wrote the Tripitakas in Pali on ola leaves as indicated on the cave in Sinhala.

Overnight stay in Kandy. 

Day 05

Breakfast at the hotel you visit the last Sinhalese Kingdom of Kandy, until 1815 it was captured and ruled by the British. Famous for the Temple of tooth that houses Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth relic, home of the Esala Perahera.  Enjoy the beauteous scenes of Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.

 

If you intend shopping, Kandy is one of the best places for buying Gems, Handicrafts, Silk E.g.  

 

Thereafter you leave for the heart of Tea Country, Nuwara Eliya. En route visit fantastic “Ramboda” falls -  Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka

 

You visit Tea plantations & Fabricating, Situated at around 2000m above sea level and surrounded by lush tea plantations. Nuwara Eliya is the main hill resort in Sri Lanka and the heart of the tea industry.

Day 6

Early wake up at 5.30am with takeaway breakfast you proceed to Horton Plains.  A paradise for nature lovers, hikers and bird watching. The most stunning place is the Worlds End, where the southern Horton Plains suddenly ends, and drops off to nearly 1050 meters, an awesome sight indeed. It is 9.5Km walking with warm jackets.

You can walk at your convenience commence a sightseeing tour of the city in the evening. Explore the Nuwara Eliya Town, Market place & hiking magnificent “Single Tree Mountain.

Day 7

Breakfast at the hotel you drive to Colombo. En route you visit St. Clairs falls, this is one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka and is commonly known as the "Little Niagara of Sri Lanka"

 

Next you visit “Devon falls” This Waterfall is 97 meters high and ranked 19th highest in the Island.

Next you visit Kitulgala, a small town perched on the hills that slopes down to the flowing waters of the River Keleni. The main attractions include white water rafting, trekking and the Kelani forest Reserve which is a popular bird watching location. Enjoy a thrilling day of white water rafting.

 

Then have your lunch at a nice restaurant in “Kelani” river bank.

In the evening leave for Colombo.

Day 08

After some well-deserved rest you can do some sightseeing or shopping in the commercial city of Colombo.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, after breakfast we will comfortably take you to the international airport well in advanced for your departure flight.
